Journalist and Internet Person

Hey there, and welcome to my little corner of the Internet.

I am a journalist, writer and digital communications specialist based in Victoria.

I regularly write for SBS, Junkee, and The Cusp on topics like food, culture, mental health, social issues, body image, and technology. I also work as a communications specialist for a not for profit organisation in Melbourne.

I have recently been published in Kill Your Darlings, The Vocal, Junkee, Overland, and Vice. I appeared at the Emerging Writers Festival and Noted Festival in 2017, and the National Young Writer’s Festival in 2016.

Over the past few years, I have worked as an editor for Express Media’s Buzzcuts program, managed social media and digital communications for a documentary about young refugees, and written a series of profiles on renowned Australian artists.

I have also worked a multiplatform journalist for the ABC, written music reviews for Guardian Australia, and caused small amounts of trouble as a music writer for streetpress magazines.

Check out some of my recent work here, if you like.

If you need a writer, want to invite me to speak at an event or festival, or just want to chat, please email me at: chloe.papas@gmail.com

If you have read some of my work and would like to make a complaint, please go here.

P.S. I also run an online store selling vintage clothing for ladies with junk in the trunk. You can find it here!
