Papas

Journalist and Internet Person

I am a freelance journalist, writer and digital communications specialist.

I regularly write for SBS, The Cusp and the Sydney Morning Herald on topics like food, mental health, social issues, body image, and technology.

I have also recently been published in Kill Your Darlings, The Vocal, Junkee, Overland, and Vice. I appeared at the National Young Writer’s Festival earlier this year.

Over the past few years, I have worked as an editor for Express Media’s Buzzcuts program, managed social media and digital communications for a documentary about young refugees, and written a series of profiles on renowned Australian artists.

Prior to life as a freelancer, I spent two years as a Multiplatform Reporter for the ABC in various locations around Western Australia. I also wrote music reviews for Guardian Australia, and spent several years as a music writer for streetpress magazines.

Check out some of my recent work here, if you like.

If you need a writer, copywriter, social media manager, or digital marketing expert – I’m available for freelance, part time and casual projects. You can email me here to see clippings or project examples.

If you have read some of my work and would like to make a complaint, please go here.

P.S. I also run an online store selling vintage clothing for ladies with junk in the trunk. You can find it here!
